The Golden Rule​

Anything not covered here explicitly in the rules falls under The Golden Rule

The admins/staff of Most Wanted RP have final say in all matters of any situation. Admin/Staff will always strive to preserve RP over any individual or group of players. To preserve the integrity of the community and RP, the rules can be changed at any time for any reason without notice.

GENERAL

1.We are a North-American server. You must speak and understand English at all times.

2.You must have a working microphone with NO BACKGROUND NOISE and clear output. Voice changers are acceptable, but they must be understandable and not overly loud, too quiet, or extremely high or low pitched.

3.Do not be toxic or breed toxicity of any kind.

4.The use of glitches, exploits, or hacks is prohibited. If you find a glitch or exploit, please notify the admin team through a bug report on Discord failure to do so could result in a ban.

5.Abide by the Twitch Terms of Service (ToS), Twitch Community Guidelines, and Discord Terms of Service while in the city and Discord.

RESPECT AND VALUE OF LIFE

1.No KOS (kill on sight) unless it is an agreed-upon war term in your respected territory or both parties have made a mutual introduction and understand why combat is occurring. Do not RDM (random death match) or VDM (vehicle deathmatch). You must have a logical reason for killing someone ("he called me a bitch" is not a logical reason to kill someone, develop the conversation more, say something alluding to the idea that they're going to get killed) .

2.You must value your character's life and the lives of other characters at all times. Therefore, your character's personality and mannerisms should portray fear when faced with a life threat. For example, if you have a gun pointed at you and you don’t have a weapon in your hands, put your hands up.

3.Do not harass or disrespect other members or management. Instead, show respect to other players and keep the real-life drama out of roleplay. Do not use derogatory remarks regarding race, national origin, gender, religion, disabilities, or sexual preference. Do not base a character's roleplay around being heavily toxic, aggressive, or discriminatory.

4.You have the right to bear arms inside YOUR home, business, or place of employment. Therefore, you may use deadly force inside your home, business, or place of work ONLY if your character's life is at risk.

POWERGAMING

1.Do not force another player to kill off their character permanently

2.Do not use crosshair or third-party programs to gain an advantage over other players.

3.Do not stake out safe zones and rob players as they exit. (follow them first DO NOT KILL ON SITE)

4.Do not run into safe zones to avoid interaction with other players

5.Do not be corrupt if you are an officer of the law.

6.Do not trespass on military property.

7.Do not log out of the server in any way to avoid jail or a roleplay situation. However, if it is an emergency or your game crashes, let the other players know in Discord AS SOON AS POSSIBLE failure to do so will result in a BAN

METAGAMING

1.Do not use any out-of-character information to benefit your character.

2. The use of third-party communication programs (discord, team speak, etc) is not allowed, please utilize in-game communication methods such as radios, phone calls, and text as much as possible. Communicating in-game helps develop backstories and provides more immersion to everyone else.

3.Do not stream snipe. You can watch someone's stream, but do not use out of game information to your advantage.

CHARACTER CUSTOMIZATION

1.Players must create a realistic human character using the customization system. (refrain from using the default character)

2.Do not dress your character to resemble an alien or animal.

3.Do not make parts of your body invisible or intentionally glitched

4.Character names add a level of immersion and must avoid being disruptive. Examples of common inappropriate or disruptive RP names include but are not limited to:

a. Names that reference known people, characters, brands, places, or icons

b. Names that reference slang terms, offensive language, or are just unoriginal.

c. Names that consist of multiple words

5.Do not play as a vigilante. You cannot be Batman, Spider-Man, John Wick, Jason Bourne, Daredevil, etc.

DISCIPLINARY ACTION

1.Any violation of the rules above can result in a ban. However, our administrative team has complete discretion over the enforcement of these rules. 2.You can appeal bans by creating a ticket. If you are banned from the Discord, the admin team has deemed your ban permanent, and you may not join the city again.

BUGS

1.In-game currency and item refunds are not distributed for bugs. However, our admin team will sometimes reward players who report bugs. Please use the ticket system in Discord to create a bug report.

DISCORD

1.Discord is considered OOC (Out of Character). Therefore, topics discussed there should never be used in-game.

AGE REQUIREMENT

1.You must be 17 years or older to play, this is non-negotiable.

BREAKING CHARACTER

Breaking character creates an un-immersive environment (examples: Discordia, "what's your ID", the gods, etc.) instead say things that do make sense and maintain the immersion (discord = send an email, "What's your lucky number?"= what's your ID)

This includes saying things to reference OOC. Some examples include:​

“Have you spoken to the gods”

"I'm going to submit a ticket"

"I'm going to speak to the government"

"Look RDM" or "Look he/she is VDM'ing"

“I'll talk/message you in Discordia” (say you’ll send an email)

Approaching staff/admin in-game to deal with issues

You must stay in character at all times on the server. DO NOT BREAK CHARACTER EVEN IF THEIR IS A RULE BREAK, finish the situation and then proceed in the correct manner via the forums.

GREEN ZONES

Technically there are no green zones but to maintain immersion if you are caught committing any crime near a city owned building you will automatically receive and extra 30 mins added on to your original prison sentence

FAIL RP/ IMMERSION

Actions your character takes should be accurate, achievable, and realistic.

Police/EMS are not allowed to sell weapons or Body Armor otherwise.

Stealing of any emergency vehicle (PD/EMS) is not permitted for any reason.

EXAMPLES OF FAIL RP/IMMERSION

-Camping new character spawns to rob them of the cash they spawn in with is not allowed. Stay away from new character spawns and go out into the rest of the world to create better criminal roleplay instead of abusing a game mechanic.

-Do not rob people who just log in for the first time, and aren't in an active situation coming back to you, before they can do anything.

-Using super human strength to pick up and carry a downed player while shooting your weapon.

-Not properly acting out or roleplaying your injuries after a severe vehicle accident.

-Jumping from high elevations, hitting the ground, then continuing to run full sprint.

-EMS/Doctors reviving a player to force confessions or interviews by law enforcement is a violation of this rule.

-Using your phone or radio while cuffed or downed.

-Changing your clothes outside of a clothing store or your house

-Attempting to force your victims to withdraw money from an ATM, sell their property, or vehicle, bitcoins, open locked doors that otherwise can't be unlocked, LSC, hospitals, etc.

-Using emotes in ways not intended. Quickly dropping to the ground in a fire fight

-Talking / Speaking normally while downed. Only speak/talk (no radio) to RP injuries.

-Carrying another player while sitting in a car just to get another person in the car.

-You may not have multiple characters who are in different gangs. If you have one character involved in gang RP you cannot have another character who is also involved in gang RP.

VULTURING

Stealing from another downed player when you did not have a legitimate RP interaction with that player. You may not enter into an RP scenario you’re not a part of to steal or rob from other players who are downed. (You were not in the original set of players who started the scenario)

Just because you come across another player who is downed, you’re not allowed to rob them of their items. There is no RP justification to do so.

FAKE HOSTAGES

It’s not allowed to use fake hostages, meaning you can not be a hostage for a friend. You are not allowed to receive any of the profits of robbing a bank or store as a hostage, otherwise you’re a fake hostage. All the hostages should be picked up off the streets and should have nothing to do with the robbery or players committing the robbery.

ROLEPLAYING WITH EMS

Players must allow others to Roleplay.

If you are downed (You got injured, bled out or as a victim of a crime, were involved in a vehicle accident, etc.) you must wait for police or EMS/doctors to arrive at the scene. If you send a distress signal, you must wait at least 5 minutes for EMS to arrive for RP. Do not send a distress signal and then leave the scene. This takes away RP from other players.

When EMS/doctors arrive, both sides should strive to provide a good RP scenario for each other. EMS/doctors should act in a fairly professional manner during the situation and the civilians will roleplay out their injuries to the best of their ability. Try to use /me’s to provide extra information on your injuries and vitals.

If you carry a friend to be revived make sure they HAVE NOT called EMS/doctors. If they have, you can not move them unless the 5 minute wait time has passed, or instructed to do so. Once you arrive at a Medical Facility always look for an EMS/Doctor for help, DO NOT run straight to check-in unless instructed or no EMS available.

ROLEPLAYING WITH LEO

Police will behave in a professional manner towards the public and each other while the public will provide a base level of respect you’d generally give police.

Criminals may no longer attempt to break out of custody once every criminal in the scenario is apprehended by LEO. The Rule of Many must still be followed. The criminal scenario ends for a character once they're in cuffs.

Any transports of criminals to prison from MRPD are considered new scenarios where separate players may attempt to intervene during the transport in route to prison. The objective of players in this scenario should be to rescue the players and leave the area immediately. Not to stay and fight with cops, not to loot cops, not to do anything else except rescue and leave. Rescued players do not count towards the Rule of Many. This scenario is over once the prison transport makes it to prison past the gates, or the rescued players and rescuers are able to evade the law enforcement.

Cop baiting is not allowed. Do not try to gain the attention of law enforcement without reason just to be annoying. Do not try to pull cops away from situations they are currently in, or bother them while they are in a situation. This ruins others' flow in RP. Running to your own gang turf or your friends is also classified as cop baiting

If your character is not a white list approved law enforcement roleplay character for Just RP, you are not allowed to wear any clothing that has any words, symbols, badges, or other indications that would lead a reasonable person to believe you are a law enforcement officer. Simply put, you can't dress like a cop.

RULE OF MANY

Whitelisted Law Enforcement characters are permitted to scale the number of players allowed to respond to criminal situations as followed:

Store Robberies, Banks, and Jewelry Stores should have a max response of 4-6 officers. If there are only two criminals there should be no more than 2-4 officers.

Pacific Bank should have a max of 10 LEOs

For the above situations cops can have as many players as they need for scene control, clearing of the building, and taking of the hostage, but only the specified numbers are to be involved in the chase

Do not treat cops as something to only rob them of weapons. You must have a legitimate RP reason for robbing cops. Do not look at a cop and instantly think ‘’I just want their weapons so I am going to shoot/rob them’’. A well thought out and planned RP plan has to be created. For example: A specific officer did something to you prior makes sense since you have a problem with him. Your “build up” can’t be; it was a chase that led to a shootout so “I wanted to loot them cause they rammed/shot me”. Your roleplay must be in depth and requires forethought and consideration, not superficial actions for immediate gratification.

Officers aren't just a tool to assist crims in their roleplay. Officers have their own roleplay they want to do, and crims shouldn't be denying them of this. Crims shouldn't be shooting officers on traffic stops, and they shouldn't be arguing with officers for no reason to make a situation heated just as an excuse to begin shooting. Crims should also not be on radio to other gang members telling them where they are during a traffic stop. Denying RP to cops also includes taking actions as criminals to purposefully avoid interacting with cops during criminal activities.

ROLEPLAYING WITH CRIMINALS

Illegal group life, (street gang life, mafia family life, etc.) should be understood that you’ll be participating in a naturally hostile and aggressive style of roleplay where you should expect other illegal groups to create conflict with your group. This isn’t required, but this is something that may happen. Players should understand being an illegal group brings certain perception and expectation from other illegal groups.

If you’re a civilian player who participates in criminal activity, you should expect to deal with the consequences of behaving as a criminal. Other criminals or illegal groups may interact with you in hostile ways. Again, if you participate in criminal activity you should expect other criminals to react to that RP.

Criminals must not take actions to avoid RP with cops and/or EMS. This includes driving bank trucks to the furthest reaches north to avoid the interaction with cops, not waiting for cops to respond to store, bank, or other scripted criminal activities. These scripted activities are intended to facilitate RP between players, not to be an overused or grinded resource where players purposefully avoid RP.

Let your character make connections with others and learn how crime works in the city before making big moves like robbing banks or taking on potential rivals. Making connections will also help you evolve your story.

As a criminal be mindful of the actions you take and what attention from police you and your group may generate. Value your life and freedom. Take actions to avoid being identified or caught. Give your character time between your crimes for things to cool down. Crimes should be committed at night and/or in discrete areas that are not in the general open public. If criminal activity is initiated in a public space during day time hours, plan better , or quickly move to a more appropriate location where you value your life and freedom.

You should expect to get more police attention, longer jail times/fines, and investigations if you repeatedly commit crimes.

When going through with a robbery of any sort (Store / Jewelry / Bank) you are required to have a hostage unless you have a very strong and well thought out RP scenario for the crime at hand.

When alerting a robbery of any sort Store/Jewelry/Bank, you must wait 3 minutes after completing your robbery to allow Police to arrive on scene. If no police arrive on scene within 3 minutes of you grabbing your last stolen good then you are free to leave. Once police begin to arrive on scene, criminals are required to continue waiting if additional officers are on their way to backup the initial responding officer(s).

Robbing any banks/stores/jewelry/money trucks/robberies within 20 minutes of a server restart (both before and after) is NOT permitted.

Chain robbing stores/banks/players are unrealistic and unnecessary. It can ruin the flow of RP for players, both cops and civilians, and make it unenjoyable for them. Doing this is classed as Fail RP and appropriate actions will be taken against you.

After committing a crime and successfully getting away, you must wait 5 minutes before changing your outfits. When waiting for the next store you would like to rob, do not wait outside the next robbery location for 15 minutes. You have to break away from the shop robbing RP completely for 15 mins then come back to it or it can be seen as chain robbing.

GROUP SIZE

Criminal organizations or groups are only allowed a maximum of 15 members. You need at least 6 to apply to become an official group.

MUSIC

In-game music is intended to add to the immersive-ness of the environment. Hanging out with friends, homies, and colleagues is a more enjoyable experience with ambient music.

When playing music in GimeyRP players should be courteous and not play music at such high volumes as to interrupt others RP. With this in mind, players need to also remember that music is a large part of a lot of people's culture. So it is expected that you may hear other people's music.

REIMBURSMENT REQUESTS

In order to preserve the integrity of the community, prevent an economic catastrophe, and set a reasonable precedent; all reimbursement requests must include video in order to be reviewed. It is important staff are able to see before, during, and after the incident in order to accurately assess what happened. Then a reimbursement may be provided. We recommend all players configure their graphics cards for capturing video. Use the feature that lets you grab the last 10 - 20 min of your play session. This will allow you to save PC resources and be able to quickly preserve what recently happened.

"Green Zones"

While there are no green zones in the city their are rules for government buildings and businesses

-No camping out businesses or government buildings

-No shooting or criminal activity at police station

-No robbing/killing people inside of businesses

SHOOTING AT OR NEAR HOSPITAL WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL 30 MINUTES TO YOUR SENTENCE IF CAUGHT

BUISNESSES AND GANG OWNERS

Business and Gang Owners are held to a higher standard. Inactive business or gang owners will receive a courtesy notice about their inactivity before their Business or gang is removed THESE ARE NON-REFUNDABLE!!

Driving Rules

- A person must drive no more than 50 MPH / 80 KMH Over the posted speed limit for that road without reason. (Running from police, Life in danger, etc.)

- If a person is in a serious accident they are to Rp the situation and NOT drive off and act like nothing happened.

- A person is to respect all traffic lights and signs. (Not running red lights back to back)

Punishments

- 1st offense - 15 Community Service (Comserv)

- 2nd offense - Kick and warning

- 3rd offense - 15 Minute Ban (you can take this time to read over the rules)

- 4th offense - 30 Minute Ban

- 5th offense - You will be dealt with appropriately
